This unisex pendant features striped Cornish surfite bezel set in sterling silver. The surfite has vertical stripes in various shades of blue, grey, navy, maroon and yellow. This classic drop pendant measures approx 45mm (inc bail) by 18mm, it comes with a sterling silver snake chain but the bail is large enough to fit a cord or thong if you wanted to swap it over.

Surfite is cured epoxy resin waste that builds up during surfboard manufacture, during the glassing stage the foam core gets covered in resin and the excess resin is drained off the board into a bucket. Once the bucket is full and fully cured the resultant block is normally thrown away but I managed to get Toy Factory Surfboards in Newquay to sell me one and took a saw to it! You can see the block and a work in progress shot in the photos, the rough isn't included but if you want something else making drop me a message. This pendant would make a great gift for a surfer or someone with ties to the Cornish coast.
