About this item
This small wall hanging decoration is just 12cm x12cm excluding twine hanging loop but features a life size wren. I have hand carved the bird from 1cm thick lime and painted it with artists acrylics. It has wire legs and is standing on a piece of branch. Everything is mounted on a hand cut spalted beech heart and finished with wax to give a soft shine. This piece might be entirely 'brown' but would cheer up any small space. SN411

Everything is so incredibly stunning! I can't help but smile every time I see the lovely birds. Both me and my dad said it's like they're alive, haha. The spirit of the animal is truly captured in each piece, and it's just a wonder to behold. If I were rich and had plenty of space, I'd fill a house with these beautiful birds!
