This fox began with a simple idea: creating animals from a basic dinner‑plate‑sized circle. Starting with that rounded shape gave the design a gentle flow, and from there the fox slowly emerged — the curve of the tail, the alert ears, the soft slope of the back. Working within that circular boundary became a playful challenge, shaping the animal’s character through careful lines and colour.
The warm orange glass brings the fox to life, each sheet offering its own streaks and tones that add depth and personality. The Tiffany method allows the design to grow slowly and intentionally, piece by piece, until the fox feels quietly watchful, as though caught in a moment of stillness. Because only two were made, each one carries the joy of a small, original artwork — a unique companion for anyone who loves woodland creatures and handmade craft.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.

Full description
This listing is for one stained glass fox, an original design by Rowan Handmade. Two foxes were made using slightly different shades of orange glass, and you can select your preferred version from the options menu. Each one has its own character, shaped by the natural variations in the glass.
The finished fox measures approximately 23 cm high by 23 cm wide, including the hanging hooks. There are two hooks at the top, and for stability it is recommended that you hang the piece using both points.
Each fox is crafted using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method. Every section of glass is hand cut, edged with copper foil, soldered and cleaned, and sometimes finished with patina. Craft glass naturally contains tiny textures and variations, making every fox unique. The colours shown in the photographs are as accurate as possible.
This fox looks striking in a window, on a wall hook, or as part of a woodland themed display. The warm orange tones and clean, stylised lines give it a bold, storybook quality that brings a little moment of woodland magic into the home.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
