The exterior has been hand-finished through multiple stages and polished with a plant-based wax sealer for an extra smooth, stone-like feel. The interior is sealed with varnish for added protection, and cork pads on the base help protect furniture. Every piece is individually made and finished by hand and may feature visible surface texture, air bubbles, colour variation and slight size or shape differences, making each pot unique. The pot does not have a drainage hole and is intended for indoor use with a plastic nursery pot placed inside.
