Custom orders are always welcome. If you would like a different colour, a pot with drainage holes, an option suitable for outdoor use, or a UV protected finish for a sunny spot, please send me a message and we can chat about your ideas.

Custom pieces are made to order and may take up to 14 days to dispatch. Ready made items are usually dispatched within three working days.

Every order is wrapped in tissue paper and carefully packaged using reused materials wherever possible. All parcels are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 so you can follow their journey.

Please note that colours may vary slightly between screens and in real life, but the listing photos are taken to represent the piece as accurately as possible. Handmade mineral pieces are best kept out of strong direct sunlight to help maintain their colour over time.

Welcome to Quirky Owl Studio. I’m Emma, an artist based in Standish, creating distinctive plant pots, jewellery boxes, coasters, trays and home fragrance pieces from my small home studio. My journey began with a love of houseplants and a desire to design unique pots for them. I quickly discovered that casting and crafting felt deeply therapeutic and helped me through my own mental health challenges. After rehoming more than 30 of my plants in their new pots, I began expanding my range to include other homewares and thoughtful gifts.

Most of my work takes place in my garage studio, although during the colder months you will often find me indoors making candles, wax melts and polymer clay pieces. I enjoy experimenting with colour, texture and form, from bold pigments to soft neutrals, always aiming to create designs that feel both practical and full of personality.

As someone on the autism spectrum, art is more than a passion for me. It is an important way to express myself and process the world. Every piece is poured, polished and finished by hand, carrying the care and joy of the making process. My hope is that when one of my creations finds a home with you, it brings a little of that same feeling with it.
