Christmas posting dates are approaching. My last order date for Christmas delivery within the UK is Wednesday 17 December. Orders placed after this may arrive after the 25th. Royal Mail delays are outside my control, especially in December, but every order will be made and dispatched with care.

Fully customisable, made to order options are available. Many of my pieces can be tailored to you, whether that is custom colours, different sizes, UV protected finishes or adapting an indoor pot for outdoor use. Custom orders take up to 7 days to make, so please order these earlier if you would like them before Christmas. I will always let you know the estimated delivery time when you order.

International orders, including the US, are welcome but may not arrive in time for Christmas as delivery times vary. Please allow extra time for these deliveries.

Screen colours can vary slightly, and handmade mineral pieces are best kept out of strong direct sunlight to help preserve the vibrancy of the colours. If you have an idea, send me a message and I will be happy to help design a piece for your space.

Welcome to Quirky Owl Studio! I’m Emma, an artist based in Standish, creating distinctive plant pots, trinket boxes, coasters, trays and luxury home fragrances from my small home studio. My artistic journey began with a love of houseplants and the desire to design unique pots for them. I soon discovered that the process of casting and crafting was deeply therapeutic and helped me through my own mental health challenges. After rehoming all 30+ of my plants in their new pots, I expanded my range to include other homewares and gifts.

Most of my work happens in my garage studio, although in the colder months you’ll often find me indoors making candles, wax melts and polymer clay creations. I enjoy experimenting with colour, texture and form — from vibrant pigments to soft neutrals — always aiming to create pieces that feel both practical and full of personality.

As someone on the autism spectrum, art is more than a passion for me; it is an important way to express myself. Every piece I make is poured, polished and finished by hand, carrying with it the care and joy of the process. My hope is that when you bring one of my creations into your home, you feel the same inspiration I experience while making them.
