A3 (29.7cm x 42 cm) poster-print entitled 'Saltaire', printed in green and pink.
This a view of the village of Saltaire in West Yorkshire. The view is looking from nearby Baildon Moor across rooftops, the famous Salts Mill in the centre and more houses in the background. Salts Mill is a former Victorian textile factory, but now host a number of businesses and shops including a David Hockney gallery, an amazing bookshop, textile manufacturers and a restaurant!
I really love the village. I have visited every year for probably the last fifteen years. There is always something interesting going on there. I was a little daunted by the view but eventually summoned up the courage to make a print.
The poster is a professional digital print of an original linocut/screenprint which has now sold out. It is printed on high quality 160g cream paper, hand-titled and signed.
The poster will be posted securely in a card tube.
