Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.
Robins visit our garden all year round and what better way than to decorate a special place with a robin

Decorate your house or Christmas Tree with these cute little Felt Robins.
Each Robin is handcrafted with love, thread and off cuts of fabrics and designed and hand cut by me, in the heart of the North East of England.
The stitching details are created with a freehand machine embroidery technique incorporating fabric applique and a satin ribbon to hang in your chosen spot.
The design gives the perfect touch to a magical time of year.
Please note, that as they are handmade they may differ slightly from the photo, but this gives each one it’s unique character.
Approximately 5.5 cm x 10 cm (with ribbon loop 11.5 cm)
