About this item
A super lightweight drop spindle with feature staining. It's 27cm long 7 cm diameter and only 35 grams (1.2 oz), finished with lacquer and waxes. The shaft tapers slightly to reduce the weight. Its made from beech and oak, had a nice easy spin

I enjoy creating from wood and trust you will enjoy your choices. I use the Post Office 48hr service for parcels they are slightly more expensive but reliable and treat parcels with more respect than others!, if your purchase is urgent however contact me and for a little more I can send next day. I strive to recycle, the majority of my wood stock has been accumulated over many years, and in some cases donated, and this , I believe, helps to keep prices reasonable. To reduce my carbon footprint I make my own packages using salvaged cardboard - quite interesting as well!. The packaging tape and minimal bubble wrap sadly cannot usually be reused.
