I enjoy creating from wood and hope you will enjoy your choice. I use a parcel service and they usually deliver within 3-4 days, if your purchase is urgent phone me and for a little more I can send next day.
I strive to recycle, the wood has been accumulated and in some cases donated over many years and this helps to keep prices reasonable. I also make my own packages using salvaged cardboard - quite interesting as well!. The packaging tape and minimal bubble wrap sadly cannot be reused.

Been wood turning for many years , mainly as a hobby but I enjoy using wood as its such a tactile material. I use some of my spare time to teaching adults with learning disabilities how to turn and what they produce is sold in their shop. It very rewarding and a pleasure to impart my humble skills to others.
I have started making specialist items for spinners, this is an absorbing task as i begin to understand how spinning works. I have expert guidance from some spinners.
I really enjoy a challenge and can make bespoke creations to order

I am very happy with this beautiful spindle and spinning bowl. I was just looking for a lap bowl in fact but when I saw this spindle I was unable to resist getting the set, especially as the price was so reasonable.
The spindle is perfectly balanced and spins really nicely, either as a drop spindle, or supported with the bowl. The bowl sits happily in my lap.
The craftsmanship is exceptional, the wood is so smooth and I love the attention to detail. I love the little dip in the bowl that stops wayward spindles from wandering off on their own, and the way the bowl can be separated for use on a table if desired. There is a felt base to the top part to stop it slipping. I'm so happy that I got this set, this spindle makes a lovely addition to my growing collection, and both bowl and spindle are going to be used a lot.
