Made with stoneware clay and thrown on the wheel. It features a swirl that is added as the wheel rotates slowly and the swirl is raised from the base to the top. It also means if you’re a mug hugger, that it sits beautifully in the hand. It has been glazed with a layered drippy glaze technique. This allows the glazes to melt into each other and give you this unique look. It would make a wonderful gift or treat for yourself! The mug was dried slowly once the handles were added over a few weeks. It was then fired to over 1000c, called a bisque firing. It was then glazed and fired again to over 1200c.
