This print is a one of a pair of big cat prints. The other print also available on Folksy is a tiger.
I like to collect leaves and other textured items to create my collagraph. I save them and keep them stored for when inspiration strikes. The leopard is sitting on broken up dried leaves which i have stuck firmly down onto my printing plate. This gives lots of wonderful textures. Once you roll your design under a printing press it picks up every little bit of texture from the leaves. I find it really magical that things that I haven’t really noticed on a printing plate are visible once it has been printed.

Full description
Collagraph print of a Leopard taking a little bit of shade under a Oak Leaf. Collagraph printmaking is an handmade process, ink is applied by hand so there will be slight colour variations between each print.
20cm wide x 27.5 cm High overall size
14cm wide x 22cm high image size
Printed on 370gsm cartridge paper
This print will be delivered using a signed for service and sent in a reinforced envelope.
Print is sold unframed.
