At last I have got round to putting together a Botanical Plaster Casting Kit, this is a superior kit to others on the market. I have 10 years of experience in making beautiful Flower Casts that are sold all over the world & can share my experience & knowledge with you. The kit can easily be used on your own, by following the detailed instructions.
Refills of the Clay, Plaster & additional wooden frames are also available
The kit includes:-
1. 1 kg (2.2 lbs.) of highest grade casting plaster
2. Buff clay - this is what I use for my casts & it can be reused over & over again. I would
not advise using air dry clay, as supplied in some other kits, as the texture is fibrous,
does not pick up anything like the same amount of detail & can only be used a few
times until it dries out.
3. Handmade wooden frame for casting 12 x 12cm (4 34 x 4 34 inches) plaques.
4. 2 x Wooden leveling sticks to ensure the clay is level when rolling out.
5. Petroleum Jelly and brush to grease the frame
6. Wooden mixing stick
6. Sandpaper to smooth edges of the cast when dry
