About this item
These textile brooches are made by stitching silk sari ribbons and remnants onto hessian. Each brooch is backed with a coordinating cotton. Each one is different and therefore makes a unique gift. Approx size 12cm x 8cm They are mounted on card and include information about they are made and are protected by a cellophane envelope. The sari silks are sourced from women in N India providing them with an income. 10% of my sales go to Launchpad, a charity working to prevent homelessness in Reading so your purchase will be helpful people at home and abroad.

Welcome to my shop. I hope you enjoy having a browse. I love working with textiles, making small and large items. Due to a very successful Arts Trail in May my stock is rather low, but I will be gradually adding items over the next few weeks. I am always happy to consider commissions and can personalise items.
