About this item
The brooch is created from a needle felt and embroidered motif, backed by wool felt with a pin added. This piece is created by needle felting wool fibre and yarn into a plain motif. I then use yarn and embroidery to add colour, pattern and detail to the shape. I use fibre, spun yarn, silk embroidery thread and wool felt in my pieces. The fibre and spun yarns are mainly wool but some contain elements of silk and, occasionally, a small proportion of manmade fibres. Size - diameter 6.5cm approx. Price includes UK shipping
