As the leaves turn brown and tumble all around, I have made this ring to remind us that Spring will soon arrive and the leaves will come bursting forth again in their fresh green colour. The ring is made from 1.5mm sterling silver round wire, cut to a length that allows it to wind twice around the finger. I have hammered the wire to harden it and add texture. At one end I have soldered a 6x8mm sterling silver bezel cup. At the other end is a leaf shape, sawn by hand from sterling silver sheet, imprinted with a pattern of veins and soldered in position. The ring was hammered to the desired shape and size on a ring mandrel. Finally, the ring was tumble-polished to restore its shine and the green agate stone was inserted into the bezel cup and secured. This ring is available for immediate despatch. It is currently about size O but can easily be adjusted to other sizes in the range LMNOPQR by bending it very gently. I can adjust it for you if you add a note to your order.
