About this item
These items are in perfect condition. They have been added to the Perfectly Imperfect Sale as they're an older design. Help me to make some room for some new shiny Utterly Pottery designs. Made from white earthenware clay, this series of textured brooches are handmade from start to finish. Initially texture is applied to the surface of the clay using a series of decorative Spring wooden blocks. Each piece is then air dried for several days before being kiln fired to form bisqueware. Next to the fun bit, applying colour! I hand paint each brooch using a combination of Spring toned underglaze colours. Before dipping in a glossy transparent glaze and firing for the final time. A brooch pin is then attached to each piece and ta-da it's ready to wear! Please note each brooch is completely unique due to the making process. Therefore the sizes and designs are not necessarily uniform. Round - Approximately 4.5cm in diameter Triangular - Sides are approximately 3.5cm

Where possible I reuse and recycle plastic bubble wrap as I find it offers the best protection for my handmade and handpainted ceramics. You can cancel the order and get a refund from the maker within 14 days of receipt, provided the item has not been used. Faulty items can be returned within six months of payment being made.
