For these attractive earrings I have combined the beauty of sterling silver with coloured titanium. Titanium displays an attractive range of shades which really come to life when the light hits it. The colouring process makes these earrings unique and one of a kind which means that no one else will have ones that are identical. I have handcrafted these stylish earrings by creating small sterling silver bars to which I have applied a hand hammered finish. I have then hand sawed 1.9 cm discs from titanium, finishing them by carefully filing and sanding. I have then polished and hammered the discs to create texture and subtle shaping before torch coloured them. I have joined the pieces together with sterling silver jump rings to create a section measuring approximately 4 cm long and I have attached sterling silver earring wires which I have also handmade.
