This heart-shaped pendant has 'Cwtsh' stamped into the wet clay, along with some flowers and tiny swallows. As with all my jewellery it is made and decorated entirely by hand. After forming my pendants from fine white clay, I imprint my design. When dry, I sand the back and sides of the pendants and round off the corners to ensure they are super smooth. They then have their first firing. Next I paint them using under-glazes and apply a transparent glaze before firing again to earthenware. Being glazed all over they are smooth against the skin whilst retaining the texture of the imprinted design. The result is a pleasantly tactile item. This is a one-off listing, the pendant in the photographs is the actual one you will receive. The pendant is a little under an inch (25mm) across the widest part. All my jewellery comes in a hand-stamped box. The chain shown is silver plated and 18" long with a lobster clasp. I can put the pendant onto a different length chain, as listed in the options.
