Full description
This is a wheel thrown stoneware mug featuring the Made With Mud logo.
It has been thrown on the wheel, handled and slowly dried. It is then fired in the kiln over 1000°. Once cooled it is then glazed and fired again over 1200°. The stoneware clay is a harder more resilient clay making it perfect for functional pottery.
This piece was brush glazed in layers of different glazes to create the delicious drippy effect. The glazes melt into each other during the firing creating this beautiful piece.
I only use lead free food safe glazes,
The mug itself stands approximately 12cm high and holds approximately 400ml.
It is dishwasher safe but not recommended.
