This is a pattern for a granny square jacket I have designed for you to crochet. It is a great project to use up those left over balls of DK weight yarn. The main body is granny squares, triangles and quarter triangles, with striped sleeves, a scallop edge and neck ties. The photos show the cardigan made up in Stylecraft special DK, on a 4mm hook. It uses approximately 475g, to give a finished garment of: Chest – 38” - 40” Nape to Hem – 20” Underarm Sleeve Seam – 18” Cuff Circumference – 8” Upper Arm Circumference - 16” If you want to enlarge the pattern, use an aran weight yarn on a larger hook. To make a smaller size, use 4ply yarn on a smaller hook. My pattern is written so it is very easy to understand. If you can make a crochet chain, and double and treble stitches you are good to go!
