I wanted a hobby, so looked into candle making, but wanted to make something quite unique and different. Not many people make sand candles, which is why it interested me even more. They are not easy to make as the wetness of the sand needs to be just right and so does the temperature of the wax. The hot wax is poured into a shape made in the sand, when drying; it absorbs some of the sand, which makes the shell – lovely! With much perseverance and using various sands and decorations, I came up with these. I hope you like them.
