Neel and I live on our family farm in Suffolk with our three children. I grew up on the farm and have been working with my father over the past few years to create a wildlife haven across our 80 acres. The whole farm is now focused on providing habitat for pollinators and farmland birds.
We manage the grassland, herbal leys and clover mixes with the help of a herd of alpacas and a small flock of Shetland sheep. Beautiful natural fibres are now our main farm product and we love working with them. Neel is the weaver in the family, and my love is crochet. I was patiently taught by my mother-in-law several years ago and have never looked back.
Caring for the Suffolk landscape that inspires us is a vital part of what we do. Because alpacas and Shetlands have a wide range of natural fleece colours there is no need to use chemical dyes on the yarn. The animals are also very gentle on the land and thrive on a grass and herb rich diet. Our fleeces are processed at mills within the UK and we hand make all of our products. The soaps that we felt are made by a local company, The Natural Soap Company, in Norfolk that sources sustainably produced palm oil and shares our values.
We hope that you love wearing and using our products as much as we love making them!
