One-off and limited edition sculptures of people, pets and elephants made of stoneware and porcelain.

I work from a studio in my garden in North London.

I'm inspired by the relationship between people and other animal species. When I finished my degree in Ceramic Design at St Martins's it took me a while to work out what it was that I was trying to achieve with clay. Having originally studied and worked in social science, there was a connection that needed to be made between the two disciplines. Making elephants seems to bridge the gap. Inspiration for making people and their pets comes from my daily morning walk near Alexandra Palace, where I regularly see people walking dogs, jogging or riding bikes. Mog and Bibby, our two cats, are always on hand to offer their tuppence worth of advice.

My work is usually quite small in size. I use porcelain and stoneware because I like the density of the materials. Commissions are always welcome - see blog for details.

Buying from me

Items are always lovingly packaged using recycled and reused materials, and will be despatched within three working days of purchase. Other arrangements can be made upon request.
