“The Sitting Dachshund Puppy was modelled on Pudding, the cutest little puppy who had gorgeous coloured markings. It’s very rare that I’m commissioned to do a very young dog and Pudding was delightfully sweet and loved to sit on your lap. It was also quite amusing to be sculpting her at the same time as my life-sized Great Dane!”

The cute Sitting Dachshund Puppy bronze sculpture is an outstanding piece of art, perfect for dog or animal lovers. Elegantly crafted in Foundry Bronze metal, this horse statue sits at Height: 25 Width: 27 Depth: 18 centimetres (Height: 10 Width: 11 Depth: 7 inches) and would look marvellous as an outdoor or garden ornament.
Tanya Russell is a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and her sculptures are hand cast by a British foundry. Her Foundry Bronze metal Dachshund Puppy statue will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and cleaning kit. This casting is a perfect recreation of the original bronze statue and bears the artist’s signature and its own unique edition number.
Your large bronze horse sculpture will be packaged with care and include our premium, embossed Tanya Russell certificate box and cleaning kit. The perfect collectible for art and animal fans, the Sitting Dachshund Puppy figure will be shipped to you double-wrapped for extra protection. How it’s made: Foundry Bronze refers to the poured molten metal that is cast solid or hollow, depending on size, at a bronze foundry (using the traditional lost wax process). It is more robust than Bronze Resin and will appreciate in value.
