Finesse Knits is a small designer knitwear business run by Ulla-Maija, a passionate knitter with a Scandinavian background. Operating from her home studio in England, Ulla-Maija designs and crafts unique, wearable, and timeless knitwear and accessories, drawing inspiration from her surroundings.
With a love for knitting and crocheting since a young age, Ulla-Maija translates her ideas into knitted shapes and patterns using carefully sourced, high quality lambswool from British mills. Her commitment to quality, value, and sustainability is carried through the harmonious blend of traditional craft techniques and natural fibers, complementing modern, contemporary living.
Utilizing a hand-powered domestic knitting machine, Ulla-Maija meticulously creates each piece, which is then carefully hand-finished with attention to detail. Her Scandinavian heritage and appreciation for simplicity are reflected in the clean lines and understated elegance of her designs, making them truly timeless and wearable works of art.
