Buying from me
My love of beads grew out of my childhood fascination with my nan’s ‘stuff’ box. I used to sit on the kitchen steps, sorting, stringing & wearing all the buttons & beads. Even now I cannot resist such a box. I have gathered beads worldwide including Czech, Chinese, Japanese & Indian. Materials include crystal, glass, gemstone, polymer clay, wood, acrylic, resin & they can be machine cut, pressed or handmade. Enjoy browsing the colours & styles that have caught my magpie’s eye.
Returns Policy
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
All items are posted Royal Mail first class in a padded envelope to keep them safe. I am happy to combine postage - please request an invoice BEFORE paying too much.
Please ensure you buy enough stash to complete your project. Even the best manufacturers may not accurately recreate colours between manufacturing runs.
I have tried to ensure that items I sell are described as accurately as possible. However, computer screens vary in colour definition and this may make the items you receive look slightly different to the items in real life.
Take careful note of the size of items – do not judge the size on how large they look on your screen. Quoted measurements are all approximate.
Due to the natural make-up or handmade nature of many of the gemstone and glass beads, freshwater pearls and other items in my shop, they are not all “perfect” and may have inclusions, veins, dimples, patterns and small colour/size variations, all of which make them unique and gorgeous – they are not faults.
Chinese beads and findings can have small variations due to the manufacturing processes used in China. While I try to ensure the beads I send are as uniform as possible, such variations are standard when purchasing beads made in China.
