I Natalia McIntosh am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
I create one of a kind pieces of jewellery that are completely handmade from beginning to end in the same way an artist might create a sculpture or a painting. My style is influenced by contemporary fashion with strong graphic as well as organic elements. Although designs might be repeated every piece is handcrafted individually making each piece unique. The process of making can take time and involves many stages. The pieces I offer are therefore of limited quantity. I also work to commission.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
Please note all CUSTOM made orders CAN take up to two weeks to be finished before they're ready to be dispatched. This time can vary depending on an item and the time of year, so please contact me if you’re in a hurry. RETURN POLICY - this item is shipped to you with Royal Mail Special Delivery only. I hope you won't want to return it, but if you do then please send it back Special Delivery. That way it will be insured against loss or damage, costs of which are covered by the buyer. Thank you! Return costs are covered by the buyer. CUSTOM made orders, where you requested an item to be made to your specifications, are non-refundable. However I am aware that when purchasing such items it is sometimes difficult to achieve a perfect fit, particularly when personal fitting isn’t possible or when a gift is a surprise. I will therefore always do my best to adjust an item where this is possible after it has been purchased. Please contact me asap or max within 6 weeks from purchasing the item. Gold vermeil items cannot be adjusted. GOLD VERMEIL - customers ordering gold vermeil finish please be sure the length of your necklace is correct as it can’t be adjusted after it has been finished.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
