At the moment I am not able to accept orders from Northern Ireland or to ship there. Apologies to those in that part of the UK.
I am inspired particularly by textiles from the early to mid 20th century, especially the Bauhaus weavers. Art of the same period fires my creativity too, and this ceramic piece is a fusion of the two. Lucienne Day's designs from the 1950s are an influence for the Lucienne Collection of banded pieces.

I handmade a ceramic bud vase that’s perfect for a single bloom or simple flower posy. On a black background of the natural stoneware clay, I created bands of colour, then incised simple nature inspired motifs to add to the design. The inside is glazed in a moss green gloss glaze so that it can hold water. It’s from my Lucienne range of art pottery ceramics, each one different and with its own character. Looks lovely on your breakfast table to add a special touch, or in your guest bedroom to welcome a visitor. A one-off in its form and decoration, and signed on the base with my potter’s mark of a swallow in flight. 13cm high and 3cm across the base.
