At the moment I am not able to send to customers in Northern Ireland - sorry!
Mono is a collection of simple forms decorated with white on matt black clay. I loved the challenge of limiting myself to one colour only, and echoed the simplicity with linear motifs incised into the white vertical panels and bands. Interiors are glazed with iron-rich glazes which fire to muted shades. The designs are influenced by the 1930s designs of Edinburgh Weavers, a leading modernist textile company of the time.

A slim modern ceramic vase for flowers or grasses from the garden or countryside. It adds a pretty centrepiece to your rooms, or makes a lovely birthday or housewarming gift. I shaped the vase in black stoneware clay, added panels of white slip and etched a twining design reminiscent of vine tendrils to give an unusual and eyecatching design. The interior is glazed in iron lustre finish with a surface gloss, while the rest of the vase is the natural matt finish of the black clay itself. 21cm tall x 5 cm diameter across the base. The base has my potter’s mark of a swallow in flight impressed into the clay before firing.
