I love walking on the beach all through the year, but particularly enjoy a sunny day, especially if there is the chance of an ice cream! This picture endeavours to capture the way that the waves dance onto the sand and tickle your toes.

Full description
Handmade, unique and ethically produced fabric picture showing a bright representation of an imaginary Cornish beach on a hot day. The sky is blue with perhaps a hint of cloud but with a golden sun blazing through. The sea is dark and blue with white frothy waves dancing onto the sands and the sand itself is warm and sparkling.
This is an unglazed picture in a grey frame using a mixture of textiles and different sewing techniques. I hand sew and use a machine and a variety of different threads to create my images which are inspired by Cornwall where I live.
I recycle frames and fabrics and endeavour to work in a sustainable manner to prevent materials going to landfill.
