Spring is my absolute favourite time of the year as the flowers that bloom are so pretty. I was hoping to evoke the feeling of these Spring coloured flowers in my picture which seem to merge into a tangle of colour when you see them in the ruraal landscape.

Full description
Handmade, unique and ethically produced fabric picture showing a bright representation of a Cornish Cottage. The sky is blue above and the doors is painted brightly. The path to the cottage takes you through a hedgerow full of Spring colours.
This is a glazed picture in a wide, silver effect frame with a white cardboard mount. The picture uses a mixture of materials, including material, embroidery thread, wool and fabric pens. I use different sewing techniques, choosing to hand sew and machine sew where needed and I use a variety of different threads to create my images which are inspired by Cornwall where I live.
I recycle frames and fabrics and endeavour to work in a sustainable manner to prevent materials going to landfill. There may be slight marks on the frames as they are not brand new.
