A local charity shop was selling some ribbon made from Sari material. ||Although I like to recycle, buying from a charity shop is still acceptable to me, so I purchased the beautiful coloured sari material which led to the creation of the flower meadow!

Full description
Handmade, unique and ethically produced fabric picture showing a bright and cheery representation of a flower meadow with a host of colourful flowers blooming.
This is a large glazed picture in a wide burnished, copper effect frame with a white card mount. My pictures use a mixture of materials and coloured threads. I use different sewing techniques, choosing to hand sew and machine sew using a variety of different threads to create my images which are inspired by Cornwall where I live.
I recycle frames and fabrics and endeavour to work in a sustainable manner to prevent materials going to landfill. There may be slight marks on the frames as they are not brand new.
