I love walking the coast of Cornwall with my husband and our dog. You often see trees, bent by the wind, yet standing strong on the top of the cliff. I tried to represent this in this picture.

Full description
Handmade, unique and ethically produced fabric picture showing a bright representation of a lone tree on a cliff top. The tree has been produced in sparkly thread and it looks down on the beach and sea. The tree stretches its sparkling branches into a cloudy sky.
This is a glazed picture in a pine, moulded wide frame with a grey card mount. The picture uses a mixture of textiles, including sari material, trims, sequined fabric, lace and coloured threads. I choose to hand sew ir machine sew to create my images which are inspired by Cornwall where I live.
I recycle frames and fabrics and endeavour to work in a sustainable manner to prevent materials going to landfill. There may be slight marks on the frames as they are not brand new.
