I love walking on the beach with my family, it's lovely in all weathers, some better than others though!
In this picture I wanted to capture the essence of the beach on a windy yet blue day when the wind blows the tops of the waves around, often giving the feeling of spray on your face.

Full description
Handmade, unique and ethically produced fabric picture showing a bright representation of a windy day on the beach. The sky is clear and blue and it's not cold but it is windy. The wind is whipping the caps of the waves. Lots of lovely textures in this picture.
This is a glazed picture in a golden, sparkling, wide frame. The picture uses a mixture of textiles, including sari material, lace, ribbon and coloured threads. I choose to hand sew and machine sew using a variety of different threads to create my images which are inspired by Cornwall where I live.
I recycle frames and fabrics and endeavour to work in a sustainable manner to prevent materials going to landfill. There may be slight marks on the frames as they are not brand new.
