I'm like a magpie in that I love glittery things so when I craft I add as much sparkle to my pictures as I can. On a sunny day the beach definitely glitters!

Full description
Handmade, unique and ethically produced fabric picture showing a stylised representation of a Cornish beach. The sky is blue with a hint of cloud, the sea is sparking shades of blue, with lacy waves dancing on to the beach which is golden.
This is a glazed picture in a wide, silver effect frame. The picture uses a mixture of textiles, including sari material, lace and golden ribbon. I use different sewing techniques, choosing to hand sew and machine sew using a variety of different threads to create my images which are inspired by Cornwall where I live.
I recycle frames and fabrics and endeavour to work in a sustainable manner to prevent materials going to landfill. There may be slight marks on the frames as they are not brand new.
