This is a second design for a sleepy fox called a Winter's Night. After dusk the little fox curled up in the bough of the oak amongst the warmth of the leaves for some dreamtime. He nestles safely under the curve of a hill sheltering from the frosty cold night. A Barn owl flies overhead in the crisp air lit up by the shimmering full moon. Together these creatures of the Earth reside in harmony and within nature's garden with little fungi and pebble sized stones framing the base. The spiral from the Oak connects the fox with the land and these in turn connect us to nature through her earthly offerings and healing properties.

Additional terms
All my ceramic pieces are packaged very carefully and deeply to avoid mishaps, although I try my end to make the package as secure as possible in transit I have no control over how it is handled. The cost of postage reflects this and also provides both yourself and me with insurance should anything happen to the piece whilst in transit. Posting is always first class and tracked, thank you.

Full description
A Winter's Night is a bespoke ceramic arch shaped wall hanging or can be placed on display in a plate holder (please use a sturdy metal one) or up against a wall or shelving where it won't be disturbed. The image is of a curled up sleepy fox as a raised piece of clay on an arch shaped base. There are imprinted leaves and stars and a full moon on the base piece which adds a very tactile touch to the surface. A silhouette of a Barn Owl flying across the sky towards the oak in the light of a full moon and three little fungi and some spiral carved pebbles adorn the surface area, these are all hand painted. The fox is hand painted and is adorned with stars that have nestled into his fur from the night sky. The approx size of A Winter's Night is 20cm Long by 18cm wide, and a hook is attached on the back for hanging. This is not a frost proof piece please do not place outside, thank you.
