The image for Moonlight Hare came from an original painting that was inspired by the landscape around my village. Here in the lazy summer months we would walk in the dusky evenings and see hares around the fields, frozen like statues or scuttling away as soon as they could. The village has wonderful large old Oak trees that line the boundary of the fields and the whole sense of being out in nature, witnessing the hare in its natural environment and my love of the moon all came together in this painting, here as a greetings card.
