I have a little collection of childrens hankies, I find them hard to resist at car boots and jumble sales, and they work so well as lavender bags.

How sweet is this pair of lavender bags? Each is made from a vintage childrens hanky illustrating the nursery rhyme, Little boy Blue. They include the horn, the boy blue, a cow and a sheep! Inside each lavender sachet is nestling a muslin bag filled with lavender from Terrington in North Yorkshire. Lavender is the natural way to a good nights sleep, an eco moth repellent! and a lovely way to scent your clothes. Pop them in a drawer for keeping things fresh and sweet. These lavender bags would make a great present for a vintage textile fan, for remembering those lovely nursery rhymes, or as a little present for new parents of twins. (I have twins, and would have loved these!)
The lavender bags measure 9 cm by 9 cm.
Inside is a muslin bag filled with dried Yorkshire lavender.
There is a hook for hanging over a clothes hanger, and they are finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse. Your bags will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping from my hoard, and posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class.
