I took a double take when I spotted this designer fabric remnant at the car boot. Was it quilted or padded? Was it unusual or just weird! Either way, it’s a useful bag and a conversation starter.

Full description
This simple but sturdy unlined tote, shopping bag, or book bag has a neat inside pocket for your phone and keys, and will fold up to fit its own little pouch, ready for those unexpected buys when you want to avoid plastic bags.
It is printed in a fabric with novelty appeal. A lovely teal and rust colourway with a humorous quilted or padded design, a real trick of the eye. It would make a great present for an autumn birthday, as a going away to uni present or for anyone who loves a bit of tromp l’oeil!
The bag measures 32 cm across the front and is 36 cm long. It is sewn with strong French seams.
There is a pair of handles each 62 cm long, and the bottom is boxed to make it a little more roomy.
The bag folds up to fit inside its own matching pouch measuring 15 cm across and 20 cm long.
The inside pocket is 15 cm by 12 cm edged with a green binding, and finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a short, cool cycle, and hang up to dry on a line or clothes rack.
I like to recycle. Your bag will arrive folded up in its little pouch and wrapped in clean, reused, packaging and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
