I love it when people have a table cloth for sale at the car boot, often with a personal attachment to it. They always appreciate that I am going to give it a new life.
Even tho this one had seen better days, there was enough corners intact to make a set of pretty handbags.

Full description
This little handbag or bucket bag is upcycled from a piece of bright floral vintage embroidery. Once a beautiful piece of table linen, it had seen better days. Luckily, I was able to work around the corner sections and produce a set of little bucket bags.This one has a bed of flowers growing up from the base, with a tiny bluebird towards the top, and is backed with blue denim. Although it is dinky, it is just large enough to hold your essentials. These small hand bags have a decorative button and loop fastening, as well as a magnetic snap on the inside facing, and are like having an additional pocket, but with its own handles! Unashamedly nostalgic, this little bag would make a great present for a vintage fabric lover, or as an accessory for a Summer wedding outfit.
The linen has been stitched onto canvas to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag.
The back is made from blue denim.
It has a pair of handles, each 30 cm long to fit snuggly around your hands.
It measures 24 cm by 24 cm with boxed ends to make it more roomy, and is lined with a vintage inspired roses fabric.
It is neatened inside with an embroidered facing, and fastens with a magnetic clasp, as well as with a decorative covered button and loop. It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please use a short delicate wash, and dry naturally.
Your bag will be posted out in clean, recycled wrapping and posted out as RM 2nd class.
