Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.

As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

You can just see the old tablecloth history in this little make up bag. A couple of tiny lace fragments in the corner and green edging on the hook. Although much of it had seen too many Sunday lunches, luckily I am still finding beautiful fragments to stitch up into a new life.

Full description
Sweet vintage embroidered roses adorn the front of this pretty yet practical little purse. Perfect for make up, coins, or storing precious keepsakes, it would make a lovely present for a bride, or for a vintage fabric lover.
It is backed with cotton to give it some strength, but it is still soft. There is a hook to one side so that you can hang it up at home and admire the craftwork in this corner of an old tablecloth.
There is a blue zip opening of 16 cm wide
The length is 12 cm
The lining is a maroon and cream vintage cotton
The back is made from washed and faded recycled blue denim
It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag
I try to reuse where I can. Your little purse will be posted out using clean, recycled wrapping. It will be posted as Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of sending, which takes about 3 days.
