This was another lovely Morris and Co remnant for sale at the Charity shop where I volunteer. I had to snap it up. Perfect for the autumn season, but also as a Christmas present for a fan of vintage textiles or victoriana.

Full description
This shoulder bag or handbag with its chunky zip, is upcycled from a classic vintage Morris and Co fabric called Golden Lily. Its surface is climbing with lilies, leaves and tendrils in the warm autumn colours of rust, peach and brown.
It has two straps, an internal pocket for the flotsam and jetsom of your life, and fits neatly under your arm. It is large enough to carry all your essentials with style, and features boxed ends to make it a little more roomy. It closes with that satisfying chunky zip. It would make a great bag to put on your early Christmas shopping list for a fan of vintage Morris and Co or Sanderson fabric.
The fabric is first stitched onto canvas to give it some body, but it is still a soft little bag.
It measures 26 cm along the top, widening to 30 cm along the base.
The height is 22 cm and the base is boxed to make it more roomy.
There is an orange coloured chunky zip 26 cm long with a recycled leather pull.
The two shoulder straps measure 75 cm each.
There is an internal pocket measuring 12 cm by 14 cm, so you need never rummage for your keys again.
The bag is lined with old skool black and white ticking fabric, and it is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a short gentle cycle, or hand wash, and leave to dry naturally.
Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
