This soft and beautiful print is Boucheron designed by British brand Crowson in the late 80s or early 90s. It was given to me by a designer friend who found it in a charity shop for me! It has a stain repellent feature, very typical of that time, which gives the fabric its soft sheen.

Full description
This Art Nouveau style tote or shoulder bag has a pocket and folds up into its own little wallet. It is made from a fabulous fabric remnant with a slight sheen, and has a print of large stylised flowers and tendrils climbing up both sides in a typical Art Nouveau design. Printed in an unusual muted colour range of green pink and lilac it will stand out in the corner shop!
I have used it to make a simple but sturdy unlined tote or shopping bag which could also be useful as a book bag. It has a small inside pocket for your phone and keys, and will fold up into its own little pouch, ready for all those unexpected buys when you want to avoid plastic bags. It would make a great going to uni present, or for anyone who loves arts and crafts design.
The bag measures 32 cm across the front and is 36 cm long. It is sewn with strong French seams, but is a soft little bag.
There is a pair of handles each 62 cm long, and the bottom is boxed to make it a little more roomy.
The bag folds up to fit inside its own matching pouch measuring 15 cm across and 20 cm long.
The inside pocket is 14 cm by 12 cm edged with pink binding, and finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Man made fabric, so please wash on a short cool cycle, and hang up to dry on a line or clothes rack.
I like to recycle. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, reused packaging from my hoard, and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
