Unlikely though it may seem, the design of an ornate ruff collar being worn by Mary, Queen of Scots in a portrait suggested wheels and cogs which gave rise to the steampunk idea!

Full description
If you are a steampunk fan, this Beaded Beasties box frame is for you. It features a dragonfly made predominantly from recycled wooden and acrylic beads with recycled card wings. Part of the wings were cut from a picture of Mary Queen of Scots and her ornate ruff collar suggested the steampunk idea!
I have used pebbles, cotton cord, chenille, card and cogs to create the dragonfly's mini environment, all mounted on a printed watercolour-effect background in yellows and greens.
The white box frame is 27cm (10.5 ins) square and 33mm deep and has a hanging hook on the back. Every Beaded Beasties box frame is unique.
UK postage is included in the price.
