Hello and welcome! This page is home to Beaded Beasties: mixed media box frames of dragonflies and other creatures in a mini environment. Each one unique, made from new and recycled materials. I hope you love what you see.
Do please also take a look at my other page: DArTworld - Digital Imaginings for greetings and occasion cards and prints.
The jewellery inspired my choice of subject.

Full description
Ormorod the owl was inspired purely by the beads and jewellery pieces used in his creation. Each element made the subject an obvious choice from shapes to colours. Two necklaces, a bracelet, a brooch plus a few more individual pieces were used to create this interesting chap.
I think his asymmetric eyes are an endearing feature and all the elements used fell immediately into place. The design on the ceramic brooch couldn't be better for his unwavering gaze.
Ormorod has two beastie insect friends; the butterfly is easy to spot - can you see the other?
The dark wood effect box frame is 32 cm wide x 42 cm high and 3 cm deep.
UK postage is included in the price.
