These is a beautifully worked fragment of embroidery, stitched by a true craftswoman. Thease pretty vintage table linens with their cut back embroidery are perfect for lavender, as the scent escapes through the tiny holes in a perfumed haze.

Vintage sweet pea embroidered lavender bag with dried Yorkshire lavender.
This pretty lavender bag is made from a vintage embroidered sweet pea design, and is filled with dried lavender from The Yorkshire Lavender Farm in Terrington.
Since ancient times the lovely lavender has been used to aid sleep, keep clothes smelling fresh, and keep away pesky moths.
Lovely to store in a drawer with a bridal gown, as a present for a bride, or Mother’s Day gift .
The front features a stem of 3 sweet peas
The back is made from the corner of a cream and beige vintage napkin, its pierced design allowing the gentle lavender scent to waft out
This little bag measures 9 cm by 9 cm
Inside is nestling a tiny muslin pillow filled with English lavender from North Yorkshire
There is a practical hook for popping onto a clothes hanger or hanging up in a bedroom, to keep the air sweet
The front and back are made from two separate pieces of vintage embroidery, and create a different design front and back
The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag
Just squeeze gently from time to time to refresh your lavender scent
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your little bag will be posted out to you wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be posted by Royal Mail 2nd class with proof of posting, which takes up to 3 working days.
