I have a large collection of vintage hand embroideries, and so often they are damaged, tea stained and threadbare. Even so, I can’t bear to throw them away. Covering buttons is my way of extending the life of these little treasures.
These roses have a lovely Summer freshness.

The roses on these extra- large metal buttons are each from a pretty piece of vintage embroidery, taken from old table linen.Tiny fragments of homemade table napkins, which have been rescued, and given a new life and purpose.
Excellent for sewing onto bags or accessories as a statement decorative feature, or simply using as buttons, (if you can sew a big enough buttonhole!) They would make a great gift for a textile lover or as a Mother's Day gift.
There are two metal covered buttons made from metal in this pack.
Each features a pink rose from an old hand embroidered range of table napkins, sewn in cross stitch.
Each button measures 4cm in diameter
I like to reuse where I can. Your buttons will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging. They will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class which takes about 3 working days.
