Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.
I will be re-stocking slowly but surely after Christmas, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I love this kind of fabric.Soft and faded, and with a little bit of history.The small embroidery holes in this one lends itself so well to lavender, where the scent can waft freely.

Full description
A lavender bag made from vintage tablecloth embroidery, with dried English lavender.
A softly faded and washed vintage tablecloth is the fabric for this pretty and functional bag.
Lavender is such an old fashioned remedy, believed to promote sleep and keep clothes free of moths and smelling sweet.
Inside this little bag is a muslin pillow of lavender, picked from Derbyshire gardens. It is snuggled inside an outer cover of vintage embroidered cotton, and has a different design front and back.
The flowers are cut back, which means there are little edged holes in them, allowing the scent to circulate freely.
It measures 10cm by 10cm, and has my embroidered label stitched to the back.
There is a hook for hanging off a clothes hanger, or for hanging it up in the bedroom as a little work of art in its own right!
