Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I love the little embroidered holes in this soft vintage cotton. I thought it would be perfect for anything scented, allowing the aroma is to waft freely.
Here is the first of my little batch of lavender bags with their pretty edged cut back holes.

Full description
Here is an unashamedly old-fashioned lavender bag, for sweet smelling clothes.
It is made from a piece of vintage table linen, washed and faded, embroidered with flowers.There are little oversewn holes in the design, which allows the aroma to circulate easily.
Snuggling inside is a little muslin pillow, full of French lavender from Provence.
It measures 11 cm by 11 cm
There is a little hook handy for clothes hangers, or for twirling round your finger.
The front and back are made from a different section of the same cloth.
The back is finished off with one of my embroidered name tags.
To refresh your lavender, squeeze the bag gently from time to time to allow the fragrance out.
I try to reuse as much as possible. Your little bag will arrive wrapped in clean, re-cycled packaging.
It will be posted out to you as 2nd class Royal Mail with proof of sending, and will require a signature.
