Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

I thought that fabrics with a cut out design would be perfect for lavender bags, because the smell can be released so easily.
Sooooo I had a massive and lovely cull through my stash to find some designs which I thought would be suitable.
Here is my first little batch of lavender bags.

Full description
A softly faded and washed vintage tablecloth is the fabric for this pretty and functional bag.
Lavender is such a sweet old fashioned remedy, believed to promote sleep and keep clothes free of moths, and smelling fresh.
Inside this little bag is a muslin pillow of lavender, picked from Derbyshire gardens.
It is snuggled inside an outer cover of vintage embroidered cotton, and has a different design front and back. The flowers are cut back, which means there are little edged holes in them, allowing the scent to circulate out freely.
It measures 10cm by 11cm.
There is a handy hook to pop it over a clothes hanger, or just to hang it up in a pretty spot of its own.
I like to recycle as much as possible. Your little lavender bag will arrive packaged in clean, recycled wrapping.
It will be sent out to you 2nd class with proof of posting by Royal mail, and will require a signature
